Bergamo, September 09-11, 2020
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
it is our great pleasure and honour to host the XXV edition of the AIDI Summer School Francesco Turco 2020.
After the successful 2019 edition held in Brescia, jointly organized by the University of Brescia and the University of Bergamo, the 2020 edition will be held in Bergamo (Italy), on September 09-11, 2020.
In the spirit of the past AIDI Summer Schools, we aim at providing a welcoming environment in a fascinating and exciting venue to all researchers coming from different universities, to promote interaction and cooperation, and enhancing the sense of belonging to the scientific community of ING-IND/17 (Industrial Systems Engineering).
As the industrial, economic, and social worlds progress towards a higher level of technology pervasiveness, new competencies, skill, and mindsets are required to both academic and practitioners. Therefore, the main topic of the 2020 edition will be “EDUCATION FOR THE FUTURE - Challenges and opportunities from the digital world”.
As usual, the School’s program will include:
- scientific sessions where researchers can present their scientific work, and discussant can provide their constructive feedback;
- training and teambuilding sessions, allowing for a better exchange among the participants;
- a social programme, encompassing both leisure activities and opportunities for discussion among participants and with industrial managers.
Further details on the programme and the related activities will be provided soon on this website.
We look forward to meeting you in Bergamo!
